2024. Moonlight Romantica. This rose has gorgeous big blooms, gets about 6 ft tall for me by the end of the season, and the blooms smell (to me) of vanilla and banana. I absolutely adore it, because I love bananas.

2024. Ruth Clements (Heirloom exclusive bred by John Clements), this one did amazingly in a pot and made it through a very very cold winter (-20 below) in my unheated garage in a pot. It deserves a permanent spot in my garden but it does so well in a pot it's staying.

2024. Bolero, beautiful and white and cupped and oh-so-fragrant. Mine only grew to about 2.5 feet, and I underestimated exactly how much bending over I'd have to do to smell it. Oh well. I still do because it smells that good. For me at least, it's not a good cut flower, it wilts/loses its petals in one day. On the bush it lasts much longer.

2024. Morden Blush, this one I found at Home Depot for $7. Such a steal. It had sweetly scented blooms all season, and Spring 2025 it is my first rose to bud out. Makes sense, it can handle winters down to z3.

2024. Crown Princess Margareta, first year in the ground, tiny plant but big blooms.
