"Miss Ackland's No 1A Special Pink T/HT". The colour varies from the flesh, tinged with pale pink seen here, through to quite intense shades of pink. Petal number varies with temperature and season. The blooms tend to have a little hollow cabbage of petals in the centre that open out to reveal yellow stamens. "Miss Ackland's No 1A Special Pink T/HT". The blooms can come one to a stem, but are more often produced in small clusters of blooms which tend to nod as they open. Canes are prickly and the prickles extend right up to the bracts and pedicels. Pedicels are bristly.
