p19. E. F. Allen. Four seedlings which received awards in 1968 have recently been named.
'Mullard Jubilee' ('Paddy McGredy' x 'Prima Ballerina'). A most vigorous and highly lucrative HT, by Sam McGredy, which won a Gold Medal last year when I described it under its Trial Ground No. 1321. The carmine flowers are strongly scented. I understand that the value of this name to the raiser puts 'Old Masters' into the peanuts category.

p155 Nurseries advertisement. Watch for McGredy roses for 1971. 'Mullard Jubilee' HT 'Paddy McGredy' x 'Prima Ballerina'. This fragrant bright pink hybrid tea rose bred by Sam McGredy has been awarded the Gold Medal of the Royal National Rose Society. The buds are well shaped and flowers fully petalled. They are borne singly and several together on a bushy compact plant with dark green healthy foliage.

E. F. Allen. Awards to New Rose Seedlngs in Great Britain in 1968.
A Gold Medal was awarded to No. 1321 ('Paddy McGredy' x 'Prima Ballerina'), an unnamed and very vigorous HT also by Sam McGredy. The large scented flowers are strawberry pink to carmine in colour, and hence not unlike a larger version of the female parent.
