'Yellow Jewel' rose Description

ARS:
Medium yellow Miniature. Registration name: Yellow Jewel
Bloom:
Butter-yellow, red center. None to mild fragrance. Average diameter 1.5". Medium-large, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Short, bushy, compact, few or no prickles/thorns. Glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.
Height: 1' to 14" (30 to 35cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for container rose, cut flower or garden. Hardy. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
