Bloom:
Yellow blend. Moderate, fruity fragrance. 26 to 40 petals. Average diameter 2". Small, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, exhibition, high-centered bloom form. Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.
Habit:
Short, bushy, compact, upright, well-branched. Small, matte foliage.
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 11. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower, exhibition, garden or landscape. Vigorous. benefits from winter protection in colder climates. heat tolerant. prefers full sun. prefers warmer sites. rain tolerant. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant, very mildew resistant, very rust resistant. Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. . Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood.. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

'Rosarian Tom Mayhew' has been named in honor of my close friend and photography mentor Tom Mayhew who passed away in 2024. Tom was an American Rose Society Master Rosarian, Rose Exhibitor, ARS Judge, and an ARS Master Photographer. Above all, Tom was a loving, generous, and kind-hearted person who enriched the lives of many in the rose world. This rose will be available for purchase on 1/10/2025 from High Country Roses.
