Discovered by Gerrit De Ruiter (Netherlands, before 1929).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1931 as 'Gloria Mundi'.

Polyantha.  

Orange - scarlet.  Large, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  

Bushy, upright.  Glossy, light green foliage.  

Height: 2' (60cm).  Width: 2' (60cm).

USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
