Bloom:
Orange-red, white reverse. Mild, spice fragrance. 25 to 30 petals. Average diameter 2". Very large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, high-centered to flat, reflexed bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long sepals, long, pointed buds.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, rounded, well-branched. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green, dense, leathery foliage.
Height: 16" (40cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden. Hardy. vigorous. produces decorative hips. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Can be pruned to maintain a shorter habit.
