'MEIringa' rose Description

Bloom:
White or white blend. None / no fragrance. 35 to 40 petals. Average diameter 4". Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Medium, pointed buds.
Habit:
Upright. Semi-glossy, medium green foliage. 3 to 7 leaflets.
Height: up to 7'1" (up to 215cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

A new and distinct variety of rose plant of the hybrid tea class, originated by crossing an unnamed and unpatented seedling with the rose variety Jack Frost, and obtaining an extreme purity of white color of its blooms, with firm and resistance texture of its petals, capable of forcing, with great yield capacity of flowers of quality.....The rose chosen as female genitor was an unknown and unpatented seedling, the product of the pollination of the variety MElchins-257F, more generally known in the trade under the name of Carina, by the variety MEban- 551, more generally known in the trade under the name Message; the rose chosen as male genitor was the variety known in the trade by the name of Jack Frost.
