Bred by Michael H. Walsh (United States, 1906).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1921 as 'Evangeline'.

Class:

Hybrid Wichurana, Rambler.

Bloom:

White, seashell-pink edges. Moderate fragrance. Average diameter 1.5". Small to medium, single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.

Habit:

Dark green, leathery foliage.

Height: 12' to 25' (365 to 760cm). Width: 12' (365cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 4b through 9b. Shade tolerant. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, susceptible to Mildew. Prune after flowering is finished.
