p141 Maureen Ross. Ross Roses New Introductions for 2004. ‘Lady Phelia’ (TOMabra) To be launched in Spring of 2004, this delightful rose will be a Centenary celebration rose for an old Victoria College. This delightful rose was commissioned by the Melbourne Girls Grammar School to celebrate the centenary of the Old Grammarian's Society. This Award-winning rose has the qualities of roses of yesteryear - delicate apricot-pink petals, delightfully ruffled, with a sweet damask-rose fragrance. This time George Thomson has produced a small free flowering shrub, with all the qualities of a modem free-flowering rose but with an old-world style of flower so popular at present. This plant can be guaranteed to flower heavily, and grow into a neat shrub no larger than 1.5 metres by 1.2 metres. Available 2004 from the School and Ross Roses.
