If there has ever been a rose created and developed for the home garde..Elle is it..hands down. The most beautiful, prolific rose in my garden for the past 6 years! Amazing, simply the best..with minimun care..not finicky at all. Strong plant..Great fragrance.!!

And where is your garden ? Great posts like this are even more useful if they can be put in the context of a region or hardiness zone.

I have grown Elle in my garden for the past six years. It is the most consistently superior rose I have grown! Very little fuss, just routine spray and feeding keeps this garden jewel very happy. Boquets of flowers for work and home make me proud, a definte 10 out of 10 in my book!

Is anyone growing Elle in a cool, moist climate (summers)? I know some roses, such as Tiffany and Tournament of Roses, do best in heat. Is this one of those?

Yes, I grow Elle in Cologne (Germany) where summers are usually not very hot and rather humid. It does very well and I love its fragance. Barbara

Elle does very well here with lots of blooms on healthy, glossy foliage and it's fragrant, too. The bloom itself lasts a long time on the bush.
