I'm in Sarasota, FL and Elle is doing OK but not really thriving. It had a few blooms on it and is now putting out some new growth. I'm going to try giving it more water. It's very dry right now. Also, in Florida we garden in sand, which is deficient in iron. I have yet to try one of the supplements which are intended to correct this.

This is a very classy rose. The leaves are a shiny dark green. The blooms are large, high pointed and full. The scent is strong. This rose has not had any problems for me. I will always have one of these in my garden.

Elle is fantastic this summer. We have had 95 to 109 degrees for the last 18 days. This rose just keeps blooming and blooming.

I planted a couple last year. They did very well. The plants were vigorous and disease resistant. Some of my other plants had powdery mildew, but Elle was fine. Very delicate pink color with a strong fragrance.
