Origin:
Bred by Jean Laffay (France, before 1828).
Introduced in Australia by Law, Somner Pty. Ltd. in 1886 as 'Princesse de Nassau'.
Class:
Hybrid Moschata, Hybrid Noisette.  
Bloom:
Light yellow, ages to white .  Strong fragrance.  40 to 50 petals.  Small to medium, full (26-40 petals), flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Climbing, dense.  7 to 9 leaflets.  

Height: 8' to 10' (245 to 305cm).  Width: 6' (185cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.  can be grown as a shrub.  can be trained as a climber.  prefers warmer sites.  Prune lightly or not at all.
