I'm very fond of this rose. I've been container gardening for the last 5 or so years, and so it's an extra challenge for my roses to stay healthy, and bloom well in the blistering high desert heat of Albuquerque NM, zone 7B. I have about 50 roses growing in pots, and out of all of them, this one has bloomed the most. It has a spectacular spring flush, which is a riot of rainbow pinks, corals, and yellows, and then keeps on trucking until the killing frost, cycling through almost continuous flushes. It has zero blackspot (albeit it's dry as a bone here), and just seems to love life, in spite living in a smallish (for a rose) planter being blasted 10 hours a day by full all day sun. It does drink a lot of water, though, and will wilt if I don't water enough during the hottest temps. To me, this is a 'good time' rose, very cheerful and upbeat. It's not a show rose, or a plant that's going to bowl you over with the size of the individual blooms, but as a landscape workhorse, it's positively stellar. One day I will tuck this baby into a garden bed, and I expect the blooms to be larger, and even more prolific.

"The female parent (i.e., the seed parent) was the ‘KORfalt’ variety (non-patented in the United States). The ‘KORfalt’ variety is protected in Germany under No. 711,432. The male parent (i.e., the pollen parent) was the ‘MACivy’ variety (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 8,362).

The parentage of the new variety can be summarized as follows:
[0000]

‘KORfalt’בMACivy’."

I don't know what PP# that is.

Just saw this one at the nursery. Really disliked the color. I was looking forward to seeing it. I will look again at the gardens, to see if the color is different. I'll see how it looks en masse in real ground, before coming to a conclusion.

So far, its sort of a luke warm tan-tinted pink, with a flat pink tone where the sun hits. The plant and bloom shape looked great, however.

So far, I'm not overly impressed with this rose either. It's short on petals for my taste, and the blooms are rather small and loose. It was new this season. I'll give it a chance to get established and see if I think the same way about it.
