I'm sorry but since the time I posted on HMF the deer have become a real problem. I have a website for deer-resistant plantss, www.deercountrygardens.com. If there are specific roses you are interested in, I may be able to help you as I have a few.
Regards,Anne Haines

Do you still have the rose Madeleine Selzer aka Yellow Taudeschon? I've been trying to find a source of this rose for some time. Do you still do sales? I'd be willing to pay full price for cuttings if you don't have plants available for sale.

Hello everyone
I'm trying to identify an HT rose similar to PB but in a slightly warmer deep orange-pink. At 5 feet tall, the mature plant was growing against a South-facing shed in Norfolk, UK back in 2014. The lightweight, lantern-shaped, colourfast blooms were borne on 5-7 inch, very slim, green peduncles mostly singularly but also in 2s and 3s, lined up along a thicker, prickly stem. The flowers, only 4 inches wide by the same tall, kept their spiralling folded and reflexed form - not flattening out into discs of wavy petals and lasted 5-8 days from the cut.
When placed in a vase overnight, the scent production was off the charts, of strawberry, raspberry, a hint of lime but zero spice. When I descended our stairs the aroma greeted me halfway down - from behind a closed door and two rooms away where the two roses stood upon a table.
I invite readers to suggest what rose it might have been....?

I'm in the Oakland hills where we get quite a bit of fog at night that settles here. I've got a spot that gets about 6 hrs sun in the AM, and shade in the PM. Based on your experience, do you think Florentina would do well? Thanks so much.

Hi!
Yes it should do just fine. No more blackspot than any other healthy roses in our climate.
