Poulsen Roser ApS is a fourth generation rose breeding concern in business since 1878. Pernille Olesen is the great-granddaughter of the founder. Poulsen Roser is not involved in the production or the sale of plants. Production takes place under license in nurseries around the world that, according to Poulsen, account for two-thirds of the world's pot rose production. The head office in Fredensborg takes care of licenses for countries in northern Europe and Africa. Poulsen Roser International SARL in France deals with licensing in southern Europe. Poulsen Roser Pacific, Inc., in the USA is in charge of licensing in the Americas, Asia, New Zealand and Australia. Poulsen lists approved retail outlets on its website.
To locate the menu of roses, chose from Products in the menu at the top of the page and then choose Roses from the menu on the left. Poulsen classifies its roses as Hybrid Teas, Paramount, Floribunda, Castle, Palace, PatioHit, Party, Parade, Renaissance, Pagode, Cottage, Towne & County, Courtyard, Pallette, Victory and National Parks.
Attention: The rose description on the Poulsen Website do not correspond to the descriptions in the patents. It seems that the former are Standard texts without relevance.
