Origin:
Bred by Wendy R. White (United States, 1996).
Introduced in United States by Nor' East Miniature Roses in 2005 as 'Sleeping Beauty'.
Class:
Mini-Flora.
Bloom:
Salmon-orange.  Strong fragrance.  45 to 55 petals.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, ruffled bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  Long sepals buds.
Habit:
Bushy, compact, spreading, well-branched.  Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.

Height: 14" to 22" (35 to 55cm).  Width: up to 3' (up to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 10b.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower, garden, hanging basket or specimen.  Very vigorous.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).  Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy.
Breeder's notes:
Very long vase life; very good disease resistance.

This new variety was developed by me under controlled conditions in a greenhouse in Rowley, Mass., by crossing the following two roses: a seedling, which was previously developed by this same breeding program but never introduced, of `Party Girl` (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 4,598) by `SA Vaspark` (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 9,799) as seed parent; the hybrid tea `MACgenev` (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 8,279) as pollen parent ....photographs , taken from 6 to 7 year old plants as grown under shaded plastic in a greenhouse in Arroyo Grande, Calif.
Notes:
This fragrant, salmon-pink miniflora will wake you up and amaze you with its long-lasting blooms, both on the plant and in a vase. Fully double blossoms, 2 inches across, cover this bushy, compact plant throughout the season. Good form, vigor and disease resistance.
