Bred by Reimer Kordes (1922-1997) (Germany, 1953).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1955 as 'Sparrieshoop'.

Bloom:
Light pink.  Strong fragrance.  5 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Large, single (4-8 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, climbing, upright.  Leathery foliage.  

Height: 5' to 10' (150 to 305cm).  Width: 4' to 9' (120 to 275cm).
