The Olympia Rose Society serves members from Thurston, Lewis, and Mason counties in the south Puget Sound area of Washington State. We hold meetings open to the public 9 times a year. We issue a newsletter to members 9 times a year. We maintain a demonstration rose garden at the historic Schmidt Mansion, home of the founder of the Olympia Brewery, in Tumwater. We maintain an informative website with instructions on dealing with our unique climate and soils, recommendations for the best rose varieties, and links to the best mail-order sources for roses.
