October 11th to 19th, 2022, Occitanie, France. Approx 1 year old own-root plant, planted this year. Flower growing within a flower.

‘Devoniensis’ at Northcliffe, Oct 29, 2021. Provenance Eileen Giblett, Hill Farm->. Natalee Kuser, Aunt Myrtle’s Garden Nursery on Fortuniana rootstock in 2004. Came as “Hill Farm loose pink and white china”.

For its second flush devoniensis put out two new basal canes ending up in corymbs. The flowers are smaller and less shapely than usual but their number is welcome. It's the first year it has behaved that way -- it might be the consistent warm/hot weather, or the biostimulant I sprayed, or both. 1 August 2022, SE England.
