Registration name: Poppy (floribunda, Soenderhousen, 1960)
Origin:
Bred by Olaf Soenderhousen (Denmark, 1960).
Introduced in Denmark by Hoersholm / Hørsholm Nursery in 1960 as 'Poppy'.
Class:
Mini-Flora.  
Bloom:
Scarlet.  Average diameter 2.25".  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, open, scalloped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Very vigorous.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
