Korona. Floribunda. Kordes 1953. (Obergärtner Wiebicke X Independence) Glowing orange-scarlet, semi-double flowers in large trusses. Slightly fragrant. Robust growth with long shoots from the base up to above knee height (29 in). Requires only light pruning.

Korona (Kordes 1954). Unusually vivid orange scarlet, large semi-double shapely blooms in clusters borne above leathery foliage on extra vigorous growth. It is very free flowering but only slightly fragrant. Awarded a Gold Medal N.R.S. in 1954. Care must be taken not to confuse it with Hybrid Tea 'Korovo'.

Korona (flori) Raiser W. Kordes, Germany. Distributors Henry Morse & Sons, Norwich. A glowing orange scarlet  floribunda, the semi-double blooms of 2 1/2 inches across being produced in large trusses. An upright and vigorous growing variety with medium green foliage. Free flowering and slightly fragrant. Awarded a trial ground certificate in 1953. Trial Ground No. 792.
