I'm in Connecticut (zone 5, I think) and I have two Scentimentals. I almost gave up on them because of the blackspot BUT this year I am trying Messenger- holy mackerel, these bushes look GREAT!! Perhaps this rose responds especially well to it, I don't know, but they are already huge and loaded with buds. So if you like Scentimental, try Messenger. (And no, I'm not on the Messenger company's payroll! LOL)

I live in Eugene, OR, Zone 8a and have had very good results with this rose.  The roses seem to always be plentiful throughout the later spring and summer, and the red & white swirls of colour are beautiful.

This rose is about 5 ft. tall and 3 1/2 ft. wide and sits next to another beautiful and profuse bloomer, Lasting Peace.

I do agree with the other posters that this rose is definitely susceptable to blackspot.  Even so, this doesn't seem to bother the rose at all (I do try to keep up with the problem and make sure that the worst leaves are pulled from the bush and the ground around the rose is clear of leaf debris) - it just keeps blooming.

This rose does not make a good cut flower as the roses do not last long in a vase.

This rose has proven itself very disease resistant and vigorous, this particular rose in my garden is potted in whiskey barrel, and has grown over 7ft tall 4 1/2' wide. My garden is located in the Los Angeles area of Southern California. It admits flowers sparingly throughout the year, while being a profuse bloomer in spring. Mature stems produce more white and have a pinkish red. Newer stems shown produce darker blooms, more red than white. Rain does seem to spoil the splendours of this beauty, as the pedels fall.

When you are looking at the Scentimental page there is a tab which says 'Available at' click there. There are three HMF sponsor mail order suppliers. You should have good luck with any of the three.

This is a popular Jackson Perkins introduction. You could find it on their website, or chances are good at a local nursery when the bare-root roses come into season in your area.

Good Luck
