Collection of about 1500 plant drawings mostly by Gessner himself, not published during his lifetime. Extracts were published in the 17th and 18th centuries. The collection is at the University of Erlangen, Germany, since 1809.
The drawings of roses are part of an 8-volume annotated facsimile publication by Martin Steinmann (see) and Karl Schmid in 1972-1980.
