Bred by Louis Rose Vilin (France, before 1902).
Introduced in France by Veuve Rose Vilin & fils in 1904 as 'Madame d'Enfert'.

Bloom:
Light pink, darker center.  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns.  

Height: 2' to 5' (60 to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 10b.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Sangerhausen describes the color of the blossom as pink. [see References].
A copy of the rose from the National Plant Collection of Victor Lewis, Braintree, Essex, was planted in Sangerhausen after 2011.
