Registration name: Sir Dallas Brooks
Origin:
Bred by R.W. Smith (Australia, 1960).
Introduced in Australia by T. G. Stewart in 1962 as 'Sir Dallas Brooks'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Red.  A clear red, lighter than 'Ena Harkness' with more petals, does not blue, broad petals. Early flowering, best in spring..  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Light green, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for exhibition or garden.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Named in honour of the Governor of Victoria Sir Dallas Brooks
