So I have had this rose for a year. Most of the roses in my new garden are still settling or the jury is still out. Not with Royal Pageant! This rose puts out flush after flush of perfect, almost incandescent blooms. Four or five inches across. Beautiful form and bright colors-cream, orange, yellow and red all mixed in a very pleasing way. The fragrance is lovely too. The flowers keep well in a vase. New growth is shiny burgundy here in the Pacific Northwest. She has stayed to about three and a half feet for me. Aphids and black leave her alone for the most part. Plant and enjoy!

Though not my favourite rose, I think it unfair to state 'occasional repeat later in the season'. In my experience, it is almost continually in flower.

According to Mistydowns' catalogue, this is HARBLEND, and can presumably be merged into that file.
