It might be me, or my fertilizer, but what was originally a light rose fragrance from the first blooms is now actually smelling kind of stinky to me. Very odd. I'll update later.

I am partial to simple, open roses, and this one is very large and a lovely light glowing pink, so I love it. The fragrance is light but is a nice rose fragrance when present, contrasted with my rugosas which are mostly clove spice. The foliage is light but I think that is because it is just in potting soil in a pot. I will try fertilizing more. Springdale Arkansas USA April 2025.
