Origin:
Discovered by Unknown(Japan) (Japan, 1899).
Class:
Atragene Group, Early Small Flowered, Group 1, Species.  
Bloom:
4 petals.  Average diameter 2.75".  Single, bell-shaped, semi-nodding bloom form.  Mid-to-late spring, late summer.  
Habit:

Height: 6½' to 7' (200 to 215cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 3b through 9b.  Plant in sun or partial shade.  Suitable for growing in a container.  No pruning required.  Shape or tidy up the plant AFTER flowering is finished.  It blooms on the previous year's growth, so resist the urge to prune it in early spring.
