Bred by Mogens Nyegaard Olesen (Denmark, 1997). Bred by Raymond J. Evison (United Kingdom, 1997).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Raymond Evison Clematis in 2011.
Class:
Early Large Flowered, Group 2.  
Bloom:
Deep pink, darker stripes, ages to pink .  6 to 8 petals.  Average diameter 5.75".  Medium to large, single bloom form.  Late spring to early summer, early autumn.

Height: 39" to 4'11" (100 to 150cm).

The present invention constitutes a new and distinct variety of Clematis plant which originated from a controlled crossing between the female seed parent, an un-named seedling, and the male pollen parent, an un-named seedling. Both parent varieties are non-patented varieties.
The two parents were crossed during the summer of 1997 and the resulting seeds were planted the following winter in a controlled environment in Guernsey, Channel Islands, United Kingdom.
