Book (1872) Page(s) 150. C. VERSCHAFFELTII (Carré).-A variety of the patens group, raised from C. cœrulea grandiflora (patens), and having the foliage and habit of growth of that species. The flowers, which are about eight inches in diameter, are of a pale blue, the edge being of a deeper tint of blue, while the tuft of anthers is brown. It is, according to M. Carré, a vigorous and also a very floriferous plant.
