Early Large Flowered, Group 2.  
Bloom:
Light blue, light green edges, ages to lighter .  None / no fragrance.  30 to 50 petals.  Average diameter 2.75".  Small to medium, semi-double to double bloom form.  Early-to-late summer.  
Habit:
1 to 3 leaflets.  

Height: 4'11" to 6'7" (150 to 200cm).  Width: up to 39" (up to 100cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5a and warmer.

'Diamond Ball' originated from a discovery of a chance seedling in the Clematis garden at W. Piotrowski Container Nursery in Pruszków, Poland in 1999. It was discovered and developed by the breeder, Szczepan Marczynski in Pruszków, Poland.

The new Clematis plant originated from an open-pollination in Pruszków, Poland of an unidentified selection of Clematis hybrida, not patented, as the female, or seed parent with an unknown selection of Clematis hybrida, as the male, or pollen, parent. The new Clematis plant was discovered and selected by the Inventor as a single flowering plant in a controlled environment in Pruszków, Poland in 1999
