Climbing President Hoover
Originated by Dixie Rose Nursery and registered with American Rose Society, 1931, under our former name, W-H-F Rose Nursery.  We originated this beautiful climber from Coddington's President Herbert Hoover, described on page 6.
Buds and flowers same as those of parent in shape and color.  Vigorous climbing habit.  Blooms monthly when well established.

Francis Scott Key. Hybrid Tea. (J. Cook, 1913.)
Very large, light crimson buds and massive, very double (95 petals) blooms of the noblest form; slightly fragrant. Erect. Flowers in great abundance. Good foliage. Quite hardy. Does extra well in the South.

Hollywood. Hybrid Tea. (Peter Scittine, 1930.) Dark rose-red flowers resembling in form the famous Premier Rose of the flower-shops. The bud is firm, pointed, and opens to an exquisitely shaped, high-centered, fragrant flower of appealing charm.
