One of the cuttings shown below, but now after 10 weeks. FIrst bloom is out. The rest will be debudded to give the plant more time to establish, but I wanted to see how the first one looked. Scent is light but pleasant. Scent may strengthen once the plant is more established.

Added two more shots, of the same bloom later in the day. First shot was taken around 8 am. Second and third shots around 4 pm.

Seems to be easy to grow from cuttings. Photo shows two cuttings, 8 weeks after they were cut.

These were started in the Resealable Bag of Death, sans fungicide, and managed to survive that (although one of the original three did succumb). The two survivors were transferred to 130 mm (5 in) pots after 6 weeks.

My Escapade isn't working out. Bought in 2008 and planted next to a Bingo which. The Bingo flourished and E. got blackspot... so in the spring of 2010 I moved it to a better spot. It just kind of refuses to really grow and flourish. It flowers with one or two blooms twice in summer - black spot is gone but it doesn't do well at all. Now I wonder if the place is wrong, if it was just bad plant, if I should replace it and try Escapade again or just get something else....
