As with many areas, our weather in Melbourne is changing dramatically. We have gone from dry heat to severe humidity, rain in summer and long, warm autumns. In June 2011 following heavy summer rains the winter was very cold and my Ramona gave this extraordinary bloom in mid winter. There were 3 similar blooms at this time. I'd be happy to hear from anyone who has likewise experienced such a thing with their clematis. Melbourne Australia.
