The World Federation site has no listing for 2020 trials at Rose Hills. According to "World Rose News" of June 2020 the Rose Hills trials in 2020 were cancelled due to Covid-19. The "Bloomables" site seems to be from Star Roses and shows practically only Meilland roses. We need some corroboration for this event, possibly a local publication.

Could be. If Meilland would only mention the silver medal at Baden-Baden.

This rose is a beast. It is the most vigorous plant in my garden. I had multiple deer attacks over last year, and this rose barely noticed. It has come out with a vengeance this spring and has been loaded with blooms. It reminds me of Belinda's Dream regarding the ease of growing it. I don't notice a ton of fragrance, but that isn't a knock against it. I have also gotten both singles and sprays this spring. The only negative is it's hard to get a perfectly unblemished bloom as moisture does tend to cause a little browning of the edges, but nothing severe. It also makes a good cut flower and lasts and above-average time in a vase. An A+ rose for sure.
