I love this rose. The foliage is almost blue-green and always healthy...at least in Southern California. Graceful in bud and semi-double open. It is never out off bloom. It appears to be very fertile; may be an interesting contributor of genes.

Lovely cluster blooming floribunda which is now hard to get. Blooms are most attractive when fully opened. Flowers fade rather quickly. Plants are small and well behaved which is surprising considering its parentage (Little Darling X Odorata). Remontancy is superb. Resistant to mildew. Rose benefits greatly from budding onto a vigorous rootstock. Makes a very nice tree rose. Excellent for exhibiting.

'Odorata', in this lineage is an older HT which might help explain the restrained growth.
It's offspring, 'Bonnie Rosalie', is nice too. I would have thought it would had a chance to be more popular but few seem interested.

Does anyone know if this rose is shade tolerant? Thanks!

This is the 1st year for Sweet Vivien and my garden. So far I'm very pleased with it's disease resistance (even with overhead watering) and love the delicate blooms.

Dove,
Thanks for sharing your experience with this rose ! In the future, use the UPLOAD button on the Photos tab to upload your photo. That way it will be included on the photos page.
The photo upload here in the Q&A is mainly for uploading a photo of a rose someone is looking for help identifying..
