'Minnie Shaylor' peony Reviews & Comments

I planted my Minnie Shaylor last fall. It produced one lovely flower this year. It doesn't have much of a fragrance, blooms very late, and is quite tall. It was used in many coral hybrids and was the seed parent for the intersectional peony Bartzella. The flowers are a very full semi-double--compared to its many coral-colored offspring, the flowers have more petals and resemble the shape of Bartzella more closely.
