Hybrid Perpetual.  Crimson, purple shading.  Strong fragrance.  Medium, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped, scalloped bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Height of 4' to 10' (120 to 305 cm).  Width of 4' (120 cm). François Lacharme (1861).

Gallica / Provins, Turbinata.  Pink, lighter outer petals, ages to lilac-pink .  Mild to strong fragrance.  Small to medium, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped, rosette bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Height: 47" to 5'11" (120 to 180cm).   Unknown Dutch origin (1790).

F,G,L,N,O,P,U,VMadame Charles Crapelet

Hybrid Perpetual.  Cherry-red.  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).   François Fontaine (père) (1859), Hippolyte Jamain (1878).

F,G,L,N,O,P,VMonsieur de Montigny

Hybrid Perpetual.  Deep pink, purple shading, ages to violet .  Mild fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).   Jean-Baptiste Paillet (1855).

Hybrid Perpetual.  Violet - purple, ages to lighter .  Medium, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).   Jean-Pierre Liabaud (1860), Jean Pernet (père) (1860).

Tea Noisette.  Light yellow, yellow center.  Strong, fruity fragrance.  Large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Height: up to 4'11" (up to 150cm).   Abbé Pierre Panaget (1857).
