Patent states 4 to 6 inches. So, they state an entire range and not a single dimension.

We only show an average dimension. Blooms are always a range depending on climate, soil, season, etc.

This classic gal is getting hard to find.
I only know of Rogue Valley Roses to offer her nowadays; as of August 6, 2025, she is in stock there, and I've ordered three.
My last try from Roses Unlimited died over her first winter, and RU has elected to no longer offer 'Charlotte Armstrong'.
I've sought her since middle school, so it's been twenty to twenty-five years to find and acquire her.

If you ever find them, you also want Banner, Charlotte's striped sport and Stockton Beauty, a darker sport of her.

I remember an experienced member of our ARS chapter saying there were two versions of this rose. The one commonly available, he said, is lighter in color and stronger-necked than the original. He preferred the original. I would like to obtain this first form if indeed it exists for a hybridizing project. Does anyone know about this? Thanks.

I'm no expert, but is it possible that another rose has been mis-identified Charlotte Armstrong? A salmon pink rose named Charlotte was introduced a year before Charlotte Armstrong. Pictures of the paler, salmon "Charlotte Armstrong" look like they could be "Charlotte."
