Spring 2023 NJ Zone 6 I planted this year from Antique Rose Emporium. It gets only about five to six hours of sun but gave two sprays of flowers mid summer. So pretty and with a sweet fragrance. It doesn't have good vase life but this spray was lying on the ground so I cut it and brought it indoors. Brindabella Purple Prince and Scentuous are the other flowers there.
Taken March 2023 in Cape Coral FL zone 10b. Hands down one of the best climbers for South Florida. Everything about this rose is a winner. 99% blackspot free in my no-spray garden. Blooms in flushes all year long, though the best ones are in winter and spring. The fragrance is a very strong and sharp blend of bell peppers and tea but with a tinge of honey sweetness to soften the acidity of the peppery tones. She also grows FAST which is nice. This plant was a 2 gallon plant from Antique Rose Emporium planted just one year earlier. I can't overemphasize how healthy and disease resistant the foliage is. My only complaint is that she is quick to show chlorosis in very alkaline soils (which mine is). A dose of soil acidifiers (especially palm tree fertilizer) will quickly correct this however :)
Climbing Clothilde Soupert_Seattle_WA_USA. I just got this rose earlier this spring as a rooted cutting, and this is her first and only bloom so far. Mine is more white and less pink than the general description indicates. I look forward to what she'll do when she settles in.
