Bloom:
Deep pink.  Strong fragrance.  Borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, classic hybrid tea bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: 3' (90cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

Fryer's Roses says Awareness has classically formed bright pink blooms which are scented and carried both singly and in clusters. This rose is named in memory of Rachel Grant for the Meningitis Merseyside Support Group, a local charity, working to combat the disease by fundraising for research and through family support and public awareness...
