Origin:
Bred by Joseph Pernet-Ducher (France, before 1907).
Introduced in France by Pernet-Ducher, Joseph in 1910 as 'Rayon d'Or'.
Introduced in Australia by H. Kemp in 1911 as 'Rayon d'Or'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow, ages to lighter .  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Spreading.  Bronze-green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Plant in partial shade for best color.  shade tolerant.
