Origin:
Bred by E. Gurney Hill Co. (United States, 1918).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1921 as 'Premier'.
Class:
Florists Rose, Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Rose-red, lighter reverse, darker veining.  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Large, medium green, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
