The outstanding rose over the three years of trial was undoubtedly Broadlands (T.G.1521) a pale yellow Ground Cover Shrub with beautiful light green shiny foliage and a good scent. It was awarded the President's International Trophy and a Gold Medal. The rose was raised by Tantau in Germany.
