Could the date of introduction in France be 1976 rather than 1986? I may be expanding time a bit here, but I'm sure I've grown this rose for at least twenty years.

I've grown three plants of this rose since the late seventies, early eighties. It does beautifully here in Zone 5, bordering on Zone 4, in Cache Valley, Utah, in alkaline soil. I sent for the plants from a catalog put out by Amrstrong Roses who called these plants "tissue culture" roses. They were the first I'd seen of what are now called "own root" roses. Their fragrance here is very slight, but it is a fragrance. They grow rather tall and straight for a Hybrid Tea.

This rose is beautiful, thornless, and hardy in warm, humid Windsor, Ontario, Canada. This is the third year in my garden and the scent is very, very mild.
