Bred by Philippe-André de Vilmorin (1770-1862) (France, circa 1803).
Class:
Centifolia.  
Bloom:
Light pink to white.  Sometimes half white, half pink.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 2.5".  Medium, double (17-25 petals), flat bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Light green foliage.  

Height: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
