Introduced in Australia by Arthur Yates & Co. Ltd. in 1900 as 'Jeanie Deans'.

Crimson - scarlet.  Strong fragrance.  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Climbing.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.
