Bred by Ralph S. Moore (United States, 1977).
Introduced in United States by Sequoia Nursery, Moore Miniature Roses Historic Archive in 1977 as 'Carol-Jean'.
Introduced in Australia by Roy H. Rumsey Pty. Ltd. in 1981 as 'Carol-Jean'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Deep pink.  Mild fragrance.  25 to 30 petals.  Average diameter 1".  Small, very double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat bloom form.  Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Leafy sepals, pointed, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Short, bushy, rounded, well-branched.  Small, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  3 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 1' to 14" (30 to 35cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 5b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Hardy.

The present variety of miniature rose was originated by me at Sequoia Nursery located at Visalia, Calif., under conditions of careful control and observation, as a cross between Pinocchio (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 484, expired -- Floribunda) as the seed parent and Little Chief (miniature not patented) as the pollen parent.
