'Little Flirt'  Shortest Red & yellow   Remontant   P2    H1   **
This is on the border line between Miniature and Dwarf Floribunda, although most people consider it a Miniature from its short growth. The leaves and flowers are a little larger than Miniatures ought to have. It is colourful, orange red with a lighter centre, the reverse yellow; but the colour fades off in the old flowers. An easy grower;  and although  the Royal National Rose Society  warns that  it may get blackspot, I must say it has been a healthy rose in my experience. Raised by Ralph Moore   from (R.  wichuraiana  x `Floradora' ) x  ('Golden Glow'  x  'Zee').   A fascinating parentage; if you care to look up 'Floradora' in the Floribunda section, you will see what it has added to Moore's strain.

New Roses. Little Flirt Miniature. (R. Moore) The colour is the main attraction of this variety, for it is of the brilliant 'Talisman' shades in a flower which is nice, especially in the bud form. However, there are some growth problems, including a rather straggly-looking plant, and both flowers and leaves are a little coarse for a true miniature. (R. wichuraiana x 'Floradora') x ('Golden Glow' x 'Zee').
